Born in Shiga, Japan, Dragon76 is an illustrator and painter whose works are deeply inspired by indigenous cultures and music. He regularly travels around the world painting live at events, music gigs, gallery openings and was once invited by Peace Boat (NGO) to do live painting for a period of 3 weeks onto walls of refugee camps in Aqabe, Jordan. The artwork for Over Ice 2 is the first of a series of illustrations he has completed for the Bargrooves series and sits perfectly with the musical direction of the label.
After a strong first album release entitled, "Endangered Species," Nickodemus is finally ready to unleash the second solo album, "SUN PEOPLE!" Inspired by the big fireball in the sky & some wonderful people, it features some uplifting dance music from all parts of the World including Guinea, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Romania, India, Turkey, UK & his hometown in Brooklyn, NYC! Some of the original Endangered Species cast is on the album including Jay Rodriguez, Quantic, Hector "Tempo" Alomar & the Candela Allstars, Zeb, Nappy G & Real Live Show. New additions to the signature Nickodemus sound on "Sun People" include Guinean born singer Ismael Kouyate, Indian classical & pop singer Falu, Richard Shepherd of Radio Mundial, Brazilian born singer Liliana of the band Maracatu, the versatile voice of Nuriya, the younger members of Taraf de Haidouks & The New York Gypsy Allstars
Caroline van der Leeuw was born 26 April 1981 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She studied jazz and singing at the conservatory. She successfully completed her studies in 2005 .
Van der Leeuw is one of the six singers of Les Elles, a close-harmony group from Amsterdam. She also regularly performs background vocals for the Kinderen voor Kinderen (Children for Children) song festival. Caro gives singing lessons at the singing school of Babette Labeij, a vocal coach at X-Factor and a conductor of Kinderen voor Kinderen.
Caro Emerald started to get known after her debut single "Back It Up". The single was initially written for a Japanese pop-act, by two Dutch producers and the songwriter Vince Degiorgio (o.a. NSYNC, Atomic Kitten, Aloha from Hell). Van der Leeuw was approached to sing a demo of the song and she added the song to her repertoire. Until 2008, when Caro sang it live on the local Amsterdam TV, AT5, the song was unknown to the general public.
"Back It Up" was officially released by Grandmono Records on 6 July 2009. It was listed in the Dutch Top 40 for 12 weeks and reached the 12th position in the charts. Kraak & Smaak have released a remix version of the song. Her song "A Night like This" was chosen for an ad campaign by Martini.
Her debut album Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor was released on 29 January 2010.

Malian singer Rokia Traoré performs her fantastic music, a combination of traditional Bamana heritage and modern vocals.Traoré pertenece a la etnia bambara, también llamada bamana. Nació en 1974 en la región de Belidougou, en Malí, cerca de la frontera con Mauritania. Durante su infancia y juventud residió en varios países del mundo -entre ellos Argelia, Arabia Saudí, Francia y Bélgica-, debido a que su padre era diplomático. Aunque los bambara tienen una importante tradición musical, basada en los griots, músicos profesionales, la familia de Traoré pertenecía a la nobleza, que tiene tradicionalmente prohibido dedicarse a la música. No obstante, Rokia emprendió la carrera musical, contando entre sus primeros maestros al célebre guitarrista maliense Ali Farka Touré. Una de sus primeras canciones, "Finini", tuvo un gran éxito en su país natal. En 1997 ganó el premio "Découverte Afrique" de Radio Francia Internacional, lo que le proporcionó la oportunidad de darse a conocer fuera de Mali. Su primer disco publicado internacionalmente, Mouneissa (1998) tuvo un gran éxito por su tratamiento de la música tradicional maliense y el empleo de instrumentos como el n'goni, la kora y el balafon junto con la guitarra y el bajo acústicos. En Europa vendió unas 40.000 copias. Dos años después, en 2000, publicó Wanita, álbum para el que compuso la letra y la música de todos los temas.
